Remembering John David Mullin 'David'

Mullin, John David “David”

Passed away at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on April 15, 2024 at the age of 81. David of Toronto, loving Father of Carolyn, Sean and Brian (Lorenda) Mullin. Caring Grandfather of Madeline, Jack, Oliver and Noah. He is predeceased by his parents, sister and brother. David will be remembered fondly by his niece, nephews, extended family and friends. He loved being at the cottage and always aimed to maximize his time there. He met his physical setbacks with courage and was determined to always keep moving forward. David will be forever missed but never forgotten. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes, 290 First Street, Midland. Cremation has taken place. The interment and Celebration of Life will be held in Victoria Harbour on Sunday, August 4, 2024 with times and locations to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation or the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated by his family.

I remember him on his beach looking out at the water as us kids from next door borrowed his lawn for our soccer games. Always kind, always helpful, and always sharing.

Six generations of our family have known Dave and his family. He was the best cottage neighbour you could ever have. It just won't be the same sharing our summers without you Dave. We are so glad we had the privilege to have you and your family in our lives and at The Harbour.

I have been a cottage neighbour of Dave's for over 70 years. It will be most sad not seeing him walk his beach and chase the geese. You will be missed. Rest in peace dear friend. Joann
